Sainsbury's has opened a new store inside a popular garden centre.
The supermarket chain now has a food hall operating from Dobbies on the Eureka Leisure Park, in Ashford.
Located in the right hand side of the large garden centre, the new mini supermarket offers chilled, fresh and frozen products.
It is the second Sainsbury's to be open for business in the town, with the huge store on the Warren Retail Park, over the other side of the M20, being just a 10-minute walk away.
Graeme Jenkins, CEO of Dobbies, has welcomed the new partnership.
He said: “It is fantastic to see our new look food hall open in Ashford, with a diverse range of Sainsbury’s products now available for customers.
"This new food and grocery offer complements our garden centre ranges, providing convenience and a wide product selection for our customers.
“A big thank you to everyone who has worked hard to bring this partnership to fruition. We hope customers enjoy our new look food hall at the Ashford store.”
To mark the opening, Dobbies is offering five lucky customers to chance to win the contents of their food hall shopping basket for free.
Until next Wednesday, shoppers will be selected at random by staff members at the tills.
The store is open 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday. Closure time is an hour earlier on Saturdays, and Sunday operating hours are from 10.30am until 4.30pm.
