A young boy had his foot run over and was then tossed into a bush after holding up a van driver as he crossed the road.
Police are appealing for information about the driver in Tenterden who assaulted the 13-year-old school boy in the town.
He was crossing Ashford Road with a friend near Homewood School at about 4.30pm on Monday, May 28 when some vehicles were held up.
As the pair reached the pavement, one of the delayed vehicles pulled up behind the boys.
The driver shouted at them and ran over the teenage boy's foot as his van mounted the kerb.
The driver then got out, grabbed the boy by his shirt and threw him into the bushes.
He got back into the black Volkswagen, which had silver bars on the rear and tinted windows, and drove off.
The driver is described as white, with a bald head and wearing sunglasses.
Anyone who knows the driver or who witnessed the incident is urged to contact PC Leanne Kingwell at Kent Police on 101, giving reference ZY/14709.
