Scott Porter says Hythe Town could not have a better opportunity to launch an FA Trophy run.
Town take on Ryman League, Division 1 North strugglers Ware in the preliminary round at Reachfields on Saturday.
The visitors have been thrashed in three of their past four league and cup games, conceding 15 goals in the process.
Hythe boss Porter watched Ware’s 5-0 FA Cup defeat by Hitchin at the weekend, so he knows what to expect.
He said: "We couldn’t have a better opportunity to start a little cup run.
"They’ve got a few big lumps in the middle of the park so we’ll need to be careful at set-pieces.
"But if we play to our potential and do the right things in the right areas, then we should win the game.
"We’ve told the players what they’re all about, and now it’s up to them to respond to our gameplan.
"We went out of the FA Cup at the first hurdle so this is a massive game for us, not least because of the £2,300 prize money, which is a huge bonus for any non-league club."
Town will be without defender Tom Parkinson, who has moved to Kent Hurlimann League side Canterbury City.
