Police are trying to trace a driver who fled after crashing into a telegraph pole.

Officers were called to Plain Road in Brabourne Lees, Ashford, at about 11.30am today after a car collided with an electricity pole.

The driver failed to stop, and police are now trying to trace them.

The incident saw the road blocked for several hours, but was clear by about 2.25pm.
