A man and his two children have been found safe and well after a desperate search.

Chris Howard, 34, picked up Molly, 4, and Oliver, 6, from Great Chart Primary School on Friday afternoon.

Mum Gemma Howard was due to pick them up on Sunday but the trio did not go home.

Mr Howard's silver Freelander was spotted by CCTV cameras in Maidstone on Saturday around 10pm but he then lost contact with worried family members.

But police this evening confirmed all three had been found and were safe.
