Stand-up comedian Lee Ridley, aka The Lost Voice Guy, will be performing at Ashford's St Mary's Church on Saturday.

Newcastle native Lee - who uses a speech aid to communicate - will be performing in support of Find A Voice, the Kentish Express charity of the year.

Lee, 31, was born with cerebral palsy which left him unable to speak and is reliant on computerised speech aids to communicate.

Lee uses his unique perspective on life to inspire his acerbic and sometimes close-to-the-knuckle comedy routines.

He communicates his humour using a speech aid known as a Lightwriter, used by Find A Voice in their work assisting people with speech and communication difficulties.

Lee will be supported by two up-and-coming musical acts from Kent.

Folk band Club Promise are a young band who have been together for less than a year, but are already being marked out as a group with a future.

Canterbury singer-songwriter Sarah Williams, 23, who is studying for a drama degree at the University of Kent will bring a sweet, yet soulful sound to the proceedings.

The performance will take place from 8pm at St Mary's Arts Centre, Churchyard, Ashford.
