A singer whose voice has appeared on soundtracks for Hollywood blockbuster films like The Hobbit and The Hunger Games will perform in Ashford.
Clara Sanabras will be be at St Mary’s Church in the town centre as part of the Revelation classical roots series on Saturday, March 8, from 7.45pm.
Clara is regarded as an exceptionally versatile musician, a captivating performer and one of the most original singer-songwriters to emerge in recent years.
She accompanies herself on baroque guitar, charango, Indian harmonium, telecaster and mandolin.
Born in France and raised in Barcelona before finally settling in London, Clara will be joined at St Mary’s by leading UK composer Harvey Brough (founder of Harvey and The Wallbangers) and award-winning, cutting-edge string quartet the Elysian Quartet.
