Fire crews are still dealing with a hay fire more than a day after it first started.
Firefighters are carrying out a controlled burn on the hay in a barn in Bethersden, near Ashford.
At the height of the fire yesterday morning, three fire engines and a bulk water carrier were sent to the scene off Ashford Road.
One engine remains at the scene today, after monitoring the fire all of yesterday.
Due to the amount of flammable hay stored in the barn, fire services are carrying out a controlled burn to reduce the risk of another, more serious fire taking hold in the near future.
A previous warning to nearby residents to close windows and doors because of the amount of smoke caused by the fire has now been lifted.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: "One fire engine remains at the scene of a fire involving a large amount of hay inside a barn off Ashford Road in Bethersden, Ashford.
"Firefighters are continuing to carry out a controlled burn. Previous advice to for people living in the immediate area to keep windows and doors closed has now been removed.
