Early morning snow caused disruption to commuters trying to get to work today.

In Folkestone many roads became treacherous as a fresh covering of snow saw motorists slipping and sliding.

Police were advising motorists to take extra care and allow more time for their journeys

In Ashford journeys into the the town centre took longer than normal as snow that had settled was turned to slush.

Many side roads in both towns were hazardous as the fresh snowfall covered over ice patches still remaining from Friday's snow.
