Steve Lovell is hoping for an end to the frustration when his side’s next scheduled fixture rolls around on Wednesday night.
The Ashford Town boss has overseen just five home games in Ryman League Division 1 South this season due to a shocking run of bad weather and an unplayable surface at Homelands.
The 1-0 loss to Tilbury in the League Cup on November 18 is the only home game they have played since the 2-2 league draw with Dulwich on October 24.
Home games against Ramsgate and Folkestone were postponed last week, taking the consecutive total to seven matches.
With no game this Saturday, Town’s attention turns to the visit of Chipstead on Wednesday.
Lovell said: "It is difficult to deal with. At this level the boys have to work so you only get them in the evenings and with the weather like it has been, it is difficult to get everyone together to train.
"We have managed to get two sessions in a week for the past two weeks which we have been unable to do for the past two months.
"It has knocked us not being able to train. The players lost a bit of fitness and sharpness and it’s important to maintain those. "
Joe Fuller (bruised foot) and Scott Chalmers-Stevens (knee) should both be fit to return after lengthy spells on the sidelines but Toby Ashmore (foot) and Paul Jones (groin) are still more than a fortnight away.
