Steve Lovell hopes to put the frustration of Saturday’s washout against Chipstead behind him when Ashford get back to action at Burgess Hill on Saturday.
Heavy rain washed out the clash of the Ryman League Division 1 South strugglers at Homelands and Lovell admitted: "It is frustrating because you prepare for a game but it has its advantages and disadvantages.
"We have been a bit stop-start this season and would like to get some consistency going but we have a few players with knocks and injuries so it has given them a chance to get fit."
Ashford have not won in 11 away games this season and had lost seven in a row on the road in all competitions before a goalless draw with Chatham last-time out.
Lovell said: "Burgess Hill are always tough but in this league anyone can beat anyone on the day. If you perform to your best, then you can get a result anywhere."
Defender Bryan Pearce returns from suspension for the trip to Sussex while striker Joe Fuller (foot) is expected to be fit.
However, fellow frontman Paul Jones will be out for up to two weeks and Ross Morley begins a three-match ban.
Loanee Jamie Forshaw has returned to Blue Square Premier club Ebbsfleet.
