An appeal for witnesses has been made after a late-night brawl among nightclubbers.

Police say a woman was assaulted and a man suffered head injuries during a fight between clubbers which spilled out on to the street late last Friday (July 17) in St Michael’s Street, Folkestone.

Officers say the fight started in the AVS night club and involved a large group of men and women.

They are trying to trace both the man who was injured and the woman and are appealing for witnesses.
