A suspected burglar has been charged with burglary after two break-ins in residential streets.

Officers responded to a call on February 16 that a man had trespassed onto a home on Kingsnorth Road, Ashford before leaving empty-handed.

Shortly afterwards, property was reported stolen during another incident at an address in Cade Road, Ashford.

Joshua Milner, 24, of Hagley Road West, Oldbury, West Midlands has since been charged with two burglaries.

A police spokesperson said: “An investigation was commenced by East Kent CID and a man was arrested in Lower Denmark Road the following day.

“The 24-year-old appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday and was bailed to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, March 18.”
