Firefighters were called to Kingsnorth last night to deal with a motorcycle blaze.

One pump was sent to Long Length around 7.30pm to tackle the 'suspicious' fire.

The team spent around half an hour dealing with the abandoned vehicle, which was completely destroyed by the fire.

A spokesman for the fire service said they do believe the fire was started deliberately and they have reported the incident to police.

Police confirmed they are investigating criminal damage.

A spokesman said: "Officers have informed the owner and enquiries are ongoing."
