A takeaway has turned its one-star rating into five after dramatically improving its food safety processes.
The Green Asian in Kennington received a one-star rating after food safety inspectors raised concerns about food preparation and cross-contamination during an inspection last year.
But the Faversham Road business scored the highest rank in a follow-up visit from Ashford Borough Council (ABC) on February 13.
In order to improve, the business - which offers Chinese, Thai and Japanese food - was advised to check the temperatures of chilled deliveries, repair the floor and carry out a gas safety check of the premises.
The inspector also recommended staff complete a refresher course in Level 2 food hygiene.
Since the inspection, the takeaway and delivery business says it has improved the food preparation area and carried out a thorough clean of the premises.

Staff have also completed a Level 2 food safety and catering refresher course.
Wenbao He, who has run the business for five years, said: "Everyday we have been logging cleaning checks and checking temperatures.
"We are currently improving our systems and working to install a walk-in fridge.
"I'm very happy that we've got our five stars back and with the environmental health officer who has helped us to learn how to organise food and improve our processes.
"We would like to thank all our customers for still continuing to order from us.
"We've received lots of positive comments on social media and it is nice to see that people are still supporting us."
