A teenager has admitted a town centre assault which left another man with a head injury.
Police were called to the High Street in Ashford at 2.45am on Sunday, September 19, after receiving reports of an attack taking place.
When officers arrived Tyger Walker was arrested and the victim was treated for his injuries.
The 19-year-old, of Whitfield Road in Ashford, was charged with affray, possession of an offensive weapon and assault.
He appeared at Folkestone Magistrates' Court the next day, where he entered a guilty plea to each of the three charges.
Walker was released on conditional bail and committed to Canterbury Crown Court for sentencing at a date yet to be confirmed.
