A teenage girl who led police on a 15 mile, high-speed chase from Ashford to Canterbury has been arrested.
During the early hours of Monday, officers from the Tactical Operations Unit were on patrol near the A28 in Ashford when a red Skoda being driven at speed caught their attention.
They pursued the vehicle through narrow country lanes and as it was driven on the wrong side of the road.
At one point the speed reached more than 120mph before a stinger was used to bring the vehicle to a stop on the A2 at Wincheap.
The driver, a 17-year-old girl from Ashford, was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving without a licence and taking a motor vehicle without consent.
She has since been released while inquiries continue.
