A teenager was tripped up and punched by louts as he walked home.
They tripped up the 16-year-old and as his friend went to help him, the victim was punched in the face.
The offenders walked up towards Cheriton.
The victim required hospital treatment after suffering minor injuries including grazes, swelling to his right hand and bruising to his left eye.
The 16-year-old was walking from Cheriton with a friend when they were approached by two or three yobs in the car park at Folkestone Cricket Ground in North Road.
The incident happened at around 10pm on Tuesday, December 18.
One of the offenders is described as white, aged approximately 16 with blond hair while another is described as mixed race and around 18 years old.
Police say that anyone with information about this attack should contact PC Stephen Hughes at Kent Police by calling 101 and quoting crime reference number ZY/036019/12.
