Teenager Lloyd Dawson Smith is still fighting for life after a stabbing incident in Hythe Road, Ashford.

The 18-year-old suffered multiple stab wounds in an alleyway behind a newsagents in the early hours of October 25.

His condition is described as critical at Ashford's William Harvey hospital.

Michael Shaun Swansborough, 19, of Bridge Street, Wye, and Trevor Moore, 21, of Western Gardens, Willesborough, were remanded in custody after being charged with Mr Smith’s attempted murder.

The two men are due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday for a preliminary hearing.
