A teenager has been arrested following a spate of alleged thefts over two months.

Police were called to Ashford High Street at 5pm yesterday, with officers seen in Bank Street.

A police spokesman confirmed a 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection with several theft offences earlier this month and in May.

He remains in custody.
