Teenagers arrested after fight at party

Two teenagers were arrested following a fight and damage to cars during a party.

Police were called to the Kingsnorth Recreation Centre at 9.15pm on Saturday after a fight broke out at a private party inside the centre and parked cars were smashed up outside.

Three cars – a BMW, a Fiat Punto and a Nissan – suffered damage amounting to nearly £700 in the incident.

A 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault and causing criminal damage to motor cars, and an 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of affray and causing criminal damage to motor cars.

Both have been bailed until March 13.
