Ashford youngsters have been out enjoying the snow and some have even managed to build a snowman.
For the first time in years, the town was hit by a snow storm.
But despite the two weather warnings by the Met Office and treacherous driving conditions around the county, some people have been out enjoying the white stuff.
Susan Sanger sent in this picture of her daughter Channon, 7, from Park Farm, who is wearing a beaming smile.
Susan said: "The kids are so excited, we have waited three years for this!"
Sarah Marie Rees sent this picture of her son Lucas in the snow for the first time ever at 7am today with his big sister Imogen, 5.
Jolana Byrtusova, from Kennington, said her family waited impatiently for the snowy weather and were too excited to go to bed when it came.
She said: "I decided to make the children's bedtime exciting when I saw the snow had finally arrived.
"I said 'look kids, its snowing, do you want to go out?' Of course they didn't hesitate.
"We put on coats and boots and went off to play in snow. We even decided to build a snowman."
And as the snow was still on the ground this morning, Julia Finnis and her daughter took an unusual mode of transport to school.
She said: "As we don't get much snow in Ashford we went out and made the most of it last night, sledging and throwing snowballs.
"This morning we made sure going to school was fun by sledging to school!"
Hayley Burke took this picture of her children, Ruby, 7, Lulu, 6, and Marcus Burke, 4.
The group were playing in the snow on the way to Ashford Oaks Primary School this morning.
