Drivers are experiencing delays in a town centre due to a weekend closure of a key route.
Part of the eastbound closure of the A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road in Ashford is causing congestion due to roadworks from the Romney Marsh Roundabout to Junction 10 of the M20.
There are also delays on the A28 Chart Bypass from Tithe Barn Lane to Loudon Way, and on the A2042 from Malcolm Sargent Road to Ashford International station.
The road, shut from the Hamstreet to Orbital Park Junction, is closed for resurfacing and kerb improvements.
It is forcing those attempting to access Junction 10 through the town centre.
Access to Avocet Way and Waterbrook Avenue are available via the westbound on Bad Munstereifel Road.
The route will be closed until 5am on Monday (June 19) where further closures will then come into effect until July 3, including the westbound route next weekend.
The work is the final part of the new four-way traffic light project known as Bellamy Gurner.
The scheme, which started more than a year ago, has already been branded as “confusing” by drivers.
