Travellers who pitched up in a leisure centre car park next to a council's headquarters have moved on.
About 12 caravans were spotted at the Stour Centre in Ashford yesterday morning.
The group - which took up a number of spaces next to the skate park - stayed for most of the day but moved on at about 6pm.
It is thought to be the same group which arrived in Canterbury earlier this week.
Canterbury City Council, which has recently acquired stringent enforcement powers allowing officers to quickly move groups along, issued the travellers with a court summons.
The Stour Centre car park is just a stone's throw from the headquarters of Ashford Borough Council, which owns the land.
It is not the first time travellers have pitched up in the town, as they have been moved on from Elwick Place, Waterbrook Park in Sevington and The Ridge playing field in Kennington this year.
