A baseball bat and class A drugs were among the items seized by police from two men in a layby.

Police swooped in on the pair on the A28 on Tuesday night - with mobile phones and weighing scales also being taken.

Both from London, the men were arrested on suspicion of possessing of class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of an offensive weapon.

The 19-year-old and 20-year-old have both been released on bail until Saturday, February 2.
