Two men have been charged with the murder of university student Ben Neilson.
Ben, 21, was home for the Easter holidays when he was attacked in Ashford town centre in the early hours of Tuesday, April 21.
The student, from Essella Road, Willesborough, died a week later in hospital in London.
Gareth David Powell, 19, of Bensted, South Ashford, and Zion Andrew Covey, 21, of Lynsted Close, Stanhope, have been charged with murder.
Both had previously been charged with assault and grievous bodily harm.
The men, who both remain in police custody, are due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday.
