Two people taken to hospital after car accident near Tesco Extra Park Farm at Kingsnorth, Ashford

Two people have been taken to hospital after being hit by a car near a supermarket.

Paramedics and police were called to Kingsnorth, near Ashford, following reports of an accident outside the Park Farm Tesco Extra just after 4pm.

A police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 4.03pm, following a collision involving a car in Moatfield Meadow, Kingsnorth.

“Officers and South East Coast Ambulance are in attendance and two pedestrians have been taken to hospital with injuries.”

KentOnline understands police have taped off roads in the area.

Kent’s ambulance and air ambulance services have been asked for comment.
