Air ambulance called to crash on A252 Canterbury Road near Shottenden Lane, Molash

Two people were rushed to hospital after a two-vehicle collision on a main road.

The A252 Canterbury Road, was blocked in both directions after the crash near Shottenden Lane in Molash near Ashford.

Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called shortly after 12.30pm today (Friday).

A man was taken to King’s College Hospital in London while a woman was taken to the William Harvey Hospital for further treatment to their injuries, a spokesman for the ambulance service confirmed.

Both were taken by road.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called to a collision involving two vehicles at 12.38pm today.

“Officers attended the A252 in Molash near the junction with Shottenden Lane with other emergency services.”

The road has since reopened following the incident.
