Uber Eats is extending its reach in Kent.
From today , the people of Ashford and Folkestone are able to order food using Uber’s food delivery app Uber Eats.
The popular app, already available in Canterbury and other areas of Kent, means you can order your next meal at the touch of a button.
Restaurants already signed up to the service include Ga Wah chinese take away, H.A's Mexican Food and Tandoori Nights, all in Ashford.
Big Boys Burger Co and McDonald's in Folkestone are also taking part.
In the same way people use the Uber app for taxis, you can track your delivery and pay through the Uber Eats app.
Toussaint Wattinne, general manager of Uber Eats in the UK, said: “We have been blown away with how popular the app has been in Canterbury so we’re really excited to be launching in Ashford and Folkstone.
"People can now get great food at the touch of a button delivered straight to their home or office.
"We have partnered with plenty of restaurants, so we hope there will be something for everyone’s tastes.”
Uber Eats deliveries are made by couriers on motorcycles, scooters or bicycles.
It already operates in Kent in Canterbury, Maidstone, Rochester and Dartford. It was also extended to Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, and Tonbridge earlier this year.
The launch of the service comes only one month after rival delivery firm Deliveroo set up in Ashford.
