An Ashford woman, who is affectionately known as 'Mummy Kik', is getting an extra special present this year after being nominated by her daughter as part of kmfm's Make Someone's Christmas.
Beatrice Janes is a security officer at Canterbury Christchurch University but her family say her job title should really be 'second mum'.
Her daughter Charlotte wanted her to get the recognition she deserves for helping hundreds of students each year.

Charlotte said: "She has been a nurse pretty much her whole life but now works at CCU as a Security Officer, although her job title should really be "second mum", because that's exactly what she is to hundreds of students each year.
"A lot of them are in need of a mother figure with being away from home for the first time, so she takes it on.
"I would like to nominate her because through her line of work she has dealt with so so much though she doesn't show it, I know it has really affected her this year.
"Throughout all of this she has never once complained!
"She somehow manages to stay strong through it all and for this, she is my biggest inspiration.
"So this nomination isn't just from me, but from the thousands of people she has helped and not once asked for anything in return!"
Beatrice is the latest person to receive a special gift after kmfm received nominations from across the county.
