A woman who was reported missing in Ashford this morning has been safely located by police.

Susan Gales hadn't been seen since around midnight on Thursday when she reported missing.

Police grew concerned for the 61-year-old - who "sometimes gets confused" - and appealed to the public to help locate her.

She has now been found safe, and police have thanked those who helped to publicise their appeal.
