Pub owner Brian Davies said he was awoken by the "almighty crash" while he was asleep just ten feet above.
He said: "I went downstairs to find the front of a van through the wall of the pub. It was coming down the road far too fast, and it's the second time this has happened in the last three months.
"It's quite scary when you are woken up at that time in the morning and half the wall under you is collapsing."
Two ambulances and the air ambulance road vehicle were called to the incident.
At least two of the people in the vehicle were taken to hospital, one being a 20-year-old woman with injuries including to her head and legs.
