A slip road was closed after van caught fire at a junction of the M20 in Ashford, causing delays.

It happened just before 2.20pm on the London-bound slip road at Junction 9 for the M20 near the A20 Fougeres Way.

The slip road was closed while emergency services responded to the incident but has since reopened.

One fire engine attended and crews extinguished the flames.

Nobody was injured and fire crews left the scene just before 3pm.
