A business in Smeeth is the focus of a new documentary series showing a unique insight into the workings of a vets.
Staff at the Montgomery Veterinary Clinic on the Evegate Business Park in Station Road were filmed by producers for two months.
The show - called Inside the Vets - aired on Monday and the vets will feature in 15 one-hour episodes over the next couple of weeks.
Clive and Jane Munns have owned the practice for 10 years and agreed to feature in the first-time series after a production company approached them.
Despite the couple sharing ownership of the clinic, Mrs Munns works as a head vet at Howletts and Port Lympne wild animal parks.
Over the course of eight weeks, cameras were fitted around the building and staff wore go-pros to capture everything that took place in that time.
Dr Clive Munns, a veterinary surgeon from Lympne said: “People should expect quite a lot from the series as the show will explore every angle of the practice from behind the scenes.
“No two days are ever the same at the vets; there are often a couple of emergency calls and you rarely get a chance to stop and have a cup of tea.
“We help all types of animals, and some are very unusual, as porcupines, reindeer and bats have all passed through our doors in the past.”
Inside the Vets is airing on weekdays at 8pm on W Channel.
