One person had to be treated following a flat fire in Ashford.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the blaze in Beaver Road early this morning.
Two fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used high-pressure hoses to put out the flames.
They then used a fan to clear the property of smoke and fumes.
It took crews just over an hour to dampen the fire, which saw one resident handed over to paramedics
The victim needed treatment for the effects of smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire has not been established.
