by Sam Lennon
Conservative Damian Green has been re-elected to Ashford, winning the seat for the fourth time and with his biggest majority.
Mr Green, Shadow Immigration Minister in the last Parliament, gained 29,878 votes, a crushing 17, 297 majority.
It towers above his 13,298 majority in the 2005 General Election.

"I would like to thank the people of Ashford."
This result was announced at 3.30am as it became clear that Gordon Brown's government was going to lose the election.
Mr Green said: "The British people have decide for change and a new leader with a new government delivering real change. That is what they deserve."
The Liberal Democrats overtook Labour to second place, with Chris Took gaining 12,581 votes, leaping above his figure of 8,308 when he stood for Ashford in 2005.
Third came Labour's Chris Clark with 9,204 a dive from the party's 13,353 in 2005..
The remaining candidates were UKIP's Jeff Elenor who gained 2,508 votes and Green candidate Steve Campkin was bottom with 1,014.
