Ashford MP Damian Green has revealed he is going to Glastonbury.

He discussed his festival plans during a visit to kmfm's Ashford studios this morning, when he appeared on the breakfast show with presenters Kirstyn and Webbo.

The Tory frontbencher, who is currently at the centre of a police probe into alleged home office leaks, will be staying with his wife in a “pod-type” tent rather than taking his own to the music festival.

He brought his own choice of music including tracks by Amy Winehouse, Sheryl Crow and The Killers.

Mr Green explained to Kirstyn and Webbo why he picked Talking Heads track Road to Nowhere. While on the campaign trail to win his first seat in 1997, he was aware the Conservatives were not going to win so he and his wife made a “doom tape” to play in the car. Road to Nowhere was on the tape.
