Video: Parkour teenagers show off skills and give advice on how to stay safe

Sorry, this video asset has been removed.

A parkour 'team' in Ashford is giving safety advice to others who want to have a go.

Watch the video of them and listen to their safety messages above.

Tips:

Try and find a 'traceur', someone who knows what they are doing. Train with them and work your way up.

Never practice alone. Always train with someone who can 'spot' you and keep you safe. They can help you learn a particular move and can get help if you do get hurt.

It takes discipline and must be taken seriously.

The safety advice follows an incident earlier this week when the police picked up three youths in their early teens trying a dangerous stunt on the Edinburgh Road multi-storey car park in Ashford.
