A much-loved cafe will be closing down.
The Village Pantry in Forstal Road, Aylesford, says “it is with sadness” that they are shutting for good.
The news was revealed via the cafes social media channels and thanked her local customers.
It said: “It is with sadness the Village Pantry Aylesford is closing for good.
“I would like to thank those of you who have supported me over the last three years.
“You have made me feel loved, like I'm getting it right.
“You have stuck up for me when people have slated me and cheered me up when I have apologised for bad or slow service.
“Also understood when I have been short staffed.”
Dozens of people left heartfelt messages for the team at the cafe.

Jackie Gooderson commented: “So sorry to hear this news.
“I wish you all the very best for the future. I am sure that your decision must have been extremely difficult.”
Amanda Allin said: “What a shame! Such a lovely tea room. You will be missed that’s for sure.”
The shop’s last day will be on Friday, June 30, where there will farewell drinks and nibbles from 11am.
The shop serves a variety of breakfast meals, sweet treats, sandwiches and drinks.
It also caters to gluten, dairy free and vegan customers, as well as providing a popular afternoon tea.
