Two bogus callers pretending to be from a charity, stole money and prescription drugs from a pensioner.
The man and woman struck in the Folkestone area last Thursday.
They entered the property saying they were from Age Concern and asked to discuss meal deliveries for the victim.
The woman, calling herself Jennifer, stayed with the victim while the man, calling himself Graham, went into the bedroom and stole the items.
Kent Trading Stands say the man is described as white, thin and about 6ft tall and 30 years old. He had short brown hair, was clean shaven and was wearing a beige zipper jacket with a white collar shirt, jogging bottoms and trainers.
The woman is described as white, thin, about 5ft 6in and 30 years old and with a local accent.
She had straight brown hair in a ponytail and was wearing a black short sleeved top with thick white writing and jogging bottoms.
KTS stresses that Age Concern no longer exists as it is now called Age UK.
They warn anyone approached by these bogus callers to call Kent Police on 101.
