Advice on housing, debt and other matters is now available in rural areas through a new Citizens Advice Bureau service.
Pilot sessions are being held in churches, village halls, health and community centres, libraries and even a pub.
Ashford’s CAB, which has bases in the town and in Tenterden, is now providing outreach services to help those in rural areas.
The bureau believes that giving access to advice in the community is vital to improving the quality of life in the area and to help bridge the gap between other services and agencies.
