A property developer from Woodchurch is selling his luxurious villa - and it could be yours for just £5.
The sale of the villa, which is on a hillside village in Turkey, just 7km from Kalkan, is the subject of a competition where entrants pay £5 to be in with a chance of winning the property.
Mark Lockhart, the current owner, says he decided to choose this approach after being “sick” of seeing people struggle to get on the property ladder.
He said: “The chances of younger people getting on the housing ladder are slim and none.
"The majority are forced into paying sky-high rents precluding them ever owning a home of their own.
“We don’t use the villa as much as we used to so we thought why not put it up as a competition so someone else can.”
The villa comes fully furnished and features four double-bedrooms all with their own bathrooms.
It also has a large open living room and kitchen, an infinity pool, al fresco dining area and comes fully furnished.
Mr Lockhart added: “We wanted to do something positive with it. After the winner is announced they’ll be free to do what they want with it.
“So they can rent it out, sell it, live in it, it’s totally up to them.”
Part of the money raised from the competition will be going to three separate charities - the Penny Appeal, the Wallich and Crisis.
The winner and a plus-one will also receive a free five-day trip, with flight fees, accommodation and visa fees all paid for as well as £500 spending money.
Mr Lockhart added: “It’s a no-brainer – winning a property can change your life, getting something valuable for very little whilst helping others.”
Entrants have to be aged 18 and over to apply.
