Officers have appealed to two dog walkers to come forward as potential witnesses after a man was punched by a hooded attacker who was armed with a knife.
The incident took place in Raymond Fuller Way on the Little Burton estate in Ashford.
The victim was out walking with his girlfriend when he was approached by the suspect and then punched in the face.
The suspect is described as being of a skinny build, donning a dark hooded top, white t-shirt, dark trousers and baseball cap. He was in possession of a knife.
Police say he looks like a young man in his early 20s and added he was also accompanied by another man.
The attack happened between 9.45pm and 10.30pm on Monday, June 6, but details have only just been released.
Officers arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of the assault, and he has been bailed to return to the police station, pending further enquiries.
But now they want to track down a man and a woman in their 20s who were out walking a spaniel at the time of the incident, as they might have seen what happened.
