Firefighters had to cut a woman from her car after it flipped onto its side leaving her trapped inside.

It happened in Maltmans Hill, Pluckley, just before 5pm last night.

Police confirmed the driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

No other vehicles were involved.

A spokesman said: "Officers are conducting initial enquiries to try and establish the cause of the collision."

Fire crews remained at the scene until shortly after 6pm making the road safe.
