A 35-year-old woman is due before a judge later this month charged with neglecting a child.

Michelle Bromley, of Godfrey Walk, Beaver Road, Ashford, will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday, June 23.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between June 2003 and June last year.

Bromley, appeared at Ashford Magistrates' Court on May 25 when she withheld a plea to the charge of neglect.

But she pleaded guilty to failing to attend court on April 27 this year. She was released on conditional bail.
