POLICE are searching or an intruder who fled after being chased out of a house by an 85-year-old woman. The woman found the man in her home in Farrow Court, Ashford, at about 5.15pm last Thursday. He ran off across a grassed area behind her Stanhope flat.

The intruder is described as 5ft 8in tall, aged 18 to 22, and of slim build. He was wearing dark clothing and a dark baseball cap, with a red motif on the front.
