Three people, including a toddler, have been injured after a smash in a supermarket car park.
One woman was airlifted to hospital after she was hit by a car in the Tesco Crooksfoot car park, in Hythe Road, Ashford.
A person in their 30s and a toddler were also taken to the William Harvey Hospital with minor head injuries.
Emergency crews rushed to the dramatic scene earlier today.
It is not yet known how seriously injured the struck woman is.
Witnesses reported seeing a woman pedestrian, who was waiting to have her car washed, being struck by a car, thought to be a blue Renault Scenic, which then crashed into a tree.
She was taken to the William Harvey Hospital by ambulance before being flown to St Georges hospital, in London.
A SECAmb spokesman said two other people were treated by paramedics but were discharged at the scene.
Speaking from the scene KentOnline reporter Sam Williams said witnesses told her a blue car came round the corner at speed hitting two parked cars and taking out six bollards in front of the store before ending up in a bush.
Manager of the car wash, Edmond, said: "We just heard the bang and then turned our heads around.
"We saw the car end up in trees. The lady from the coffee shop turned up to give them a hand.
"One of my guys ran down there and the next minute there was an ambulance.
"They all tried to help as much as they could before the fire brigade and ambulance got there.
"The lady who got hit was waiting for her car to get cleaned. She was waiting on the corner and the guys were just about to call her over.
"If it was just one minute later she probably would have been alright."
It is thought there were three cars damaged in the incident and a tree has fallen down.
An area from the car wash to the coffee shop has been cordoned off and forensic teams were on the scene.
A police spokesman said: "Secamb and the air ambulance were also called and a woman has been airlifted to a London hospital.
"Officers remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing.
"No one has been arrested."
