A cyclist was taken to hospital this morning following a crash between a car and bicycle.

The collision happened at 8.04am on the roundabout between Magazine Road and Maidstone Road, in Ashford.

Police and paramedics were both called to the scene, and assisted a woman cyclist who was hurt in the crash.

She was taken to the William Harvey Hospital.
