A woman is said to have kicked and spat at officers after she was found “naked on board a train” and “performing a sex act”.

Police were called to Ashford last night after concerns were raised about the woman’s behaviour, but when officers arrived, she is said to have turned violent.

When approaching the woman, she allegedly spat in one of the officer’s faces, and kicked another in the face.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police (BTP) said: “It was reported to police that a female was naked on board a train performing a sexual act and when officers came to help her she appeared confused.

“However when officers were conducting welfare checks she turned upon them and spat in the face of one officer.”

The woman was restrained and became more violent, prompting police to use a spit guard and limb restraints to subdue her.

She was then arrested and taken into custody.

The BTP spokesperson said she will be interviewed this morning regarding the allegations.
