A woman was sent to hospital after being rescued from an overturned car.
Fire crews and paramedics were called to Giggers Green Road, in Aldington, at 6.40pm yesterday to reports a car had flipped over onto its side.
Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment, sometimes known as the jaws of life, to release the trapped woman, believed to be in her 60s.
She was stabilised and assessed at the scene before being taken to hospital with a spinal injury.
Fire crews said only one car was involved and added that the road conditions were very icy last night.
Crews remained at the scene until around 8pm.
Police were also called in the incident and say the road was closed for two and a half hours.
